Organic Gluten Free Deserts
All of our baked goods are lovingly made from the very healthiest ingredients available, and contain no artificial flavors, “natural flavors” and are preservative free. Our certified gluten-free flours include sweet sorghum, garbanzo, white rice, brown rice, and tapioca. We only use organic butter, cheese and eggs. Only natural organic cane sugar is utilized, and all of our products are free of soy. All of our cookies are free of dairy, but retain the same buttery taste as dairy goods through the use of organic coconut oil.

We believe that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice flavor to enjoy healthy deserts. Low sugar content and high quality ingredients such as coconut, flax, chocolate, fruits, and nuts add nutritious benefit while making FoodSmarty baked goods delicious.

All of our products gluten-free, but they are also free of soy, dairy, preservatives, and any other chemicals or “natural” flavors. Organic coconut oil, bean flours, and other ingredients allow these products to be indistinguishable from gluten-based products.

Foodsmarty’s proprietor, Celina Jean, has a passion for very healthy food. Born in Austin and raised by parents who went “raw” before anyone knew what “raw” meant, Celina learned to appreciate ingredients not only for their delicious taste, but their healing properties as well. She combines a unique medical science background, a lifetime of nutritional learning and her deep love of cooking to create healthy, unique and thoroughly scrumptious cookies, pastries and pies. Her goal is to share her passion for foods that nurture and heal the body with as many people as possible.

GF Whole Grain Bread: Dairy-Free | Gluten-Free | Organic | Preservative-Free | Soy-Free | Vegan

This dense bread is perfect because it has a wide variety of uses. In addition to traditional bread uses, try it sliced in squares to dip in hummus or another spread. It is so delicious and it is wonderful with a bit of honey or dipped in olive oil. Unlike most gluten-free breads it does not have to be kept frozen or kept cool. It also is free of any binders, fillers, or chemicals to make it rise.

This bread is highly nutritious and tastes exactly like whole wheat bread. It is made with Teff flour, garbanzo flour, and organic whole grain brown rice flour. This flour mixture provides a complete protein making the glycemic index very low and making this bread also ideal for diabetics. This bread may be made without honey for a complete sugar free product if desired.

Since this bread does not have any preservatives, please keep refrigerated after one day. It will keep one week in the fridge or may also be frozen.
