April First Friday Block Party Apr 3rd, 2015 6-10 pm

This Friday evening we celebrate the final month of our partnership with the Literacy Coalition of Central Texas, a great organization that we’ve been honored to call our Community Non-Profit Partner since the Fall.  As per usual, we’ll have vendors on hand sampling delicious food and drink, live entertainment, and more.  Check the Facebook event page for updates and special announcements.  

Zumba With Rhonda

Saturday, April 4th at 10:30am

Get ready to move and sweat as zumba comes to our lawn every Saturday morning in April.  This is an all levels class open to anyone offered on a by-donation basis.  Wear comfortable workout clothes and shoes that have good traction, a water bottle, and hand towel (you will sweat)!  

Come spend your Easter Sunday with us and some of our favorite furry friends of the Tiny Tails to You Petting Zoo! Wine of the Week: Argus Cidery Tepache Pineapple Wine

Our wine of the week isn’t made from grapes at all, but it sure is tasty! From Argus Cidery comes Tepache, a delicious sparkling wine made from pineapples. The recipe is a traditional fermentation process that blends the whole pineapple with yeast and spice to create this beautifully bubbly drink!  Try a glass this week!

Coffee of the Month: Barrett’s Yirgacheffe Konga 

This month’s coffee comes from a Woreda in the Gedeo Zone, Yirgacheffe located in central Ethiopia. These smaller regions are intentionally kept separate to preserve each regions specific taste. After being fairly traded to the states, they fall in the expert hands of Barrett’s Coffee Roasters, who add a chocolatey nose and berry flavor with a slight zing. A wonderful breakfast blend and on sale all this month.

Wunder Monday is back!

We missed it too, but it’s back! The ever popular #WunderMonday is here again and that means savings on the delicious Wunder-Pilz Kombucha. Salt & Pepper Longhorn Steak

What’s super simple, very tasty, and quick to make? Salt & Pepper Steak. Steak has a great natural flavor that can be enhanced with just the basic spices. Too much maranade or seasoning can take away from the wondeful taste within.  Take advantage of this week’s sale on Dear Run Longhorn Steaks and get in the mood for summer.


  • 1½ pounds skirt steak
  • Salt and pepper


  • Cut 1½ lb. skirt steak into 4 pieces; season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill over medium-high heat until medium-rare, about 4 minutes per side.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before thinly slicing against the grain.
